Two teens accused in highway water bottle assaults

SANTA ROSA, Calif. (KGO) -- The CHP is recommending charges be filed against a pair of teenagers for throwing water bottles at cars.

The incidents took place over the course of several days in Feb. on Highway 12 near Sebastopol.

Although it stopped after a vehicle was identified and its owner promised it wouldn't happen again, the CHP now says two boys -- ages 15 and 16 -- were responsible for what happened.

They've asked the district attorney to file felony assault charges against them.
