Researchers say a treadmill desk is the key to keeping fit in more ways than one.
The first reason is obvious -- you burn calories while you work because the desk forces you to stand up and walk while typing away.
Second, research shows people who read and check email at a treadmill desk do better on tests of memory and attention.
And third, it increases productivity, helping people get almost 2 percent more work done per hour, compared to those who sit.
