KEMAH, Texas -- A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter made an emergency landing in the parking lot of a Target in Kemah, Texas.

Authorities say the helicopter had just finished checking out possible damage of an unmanned platform in the Gulf of Mexico and was flying back when it hit a bird. The pilots landed around 8 p.m. in the parking lot of a Target in the 200 block of Marina Bay Drive as a precaution. There's video of the emergency landing from comeandtakeitfishing.com/gforce motorsports Pearland, Texas.

Four people, including two pilots, were aboard the chopper and they're all okay.

The chopper will remain in the parking lot until Friday morning, when a crew is scheduled to check it out.
