VIRAL VIDEO: Golden eagle snatches kid...or does it?

It was a peaceful day at the park, until a giant eagle swoops in and tries to snatch up a toddler sitting on the grass. It drops the child and flies away and the entire thing was caught on video.

The video, posted on YouTube immediately went viral, and has been viewed over 5.1 million times in just over 24 hours.

But (thankfully for the child) it appears it was all a hoax.

The three Canadian film students have now taken credit for the video. They say both the eagle and the baby were 3D animations added in post-production.
