Navigation app Waze highlighting Bay Area's worst holiday travel routes

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Navigation app Waze is offering some tips for anyone hitting the road over the next few days.

Waze has put out a chart showing the times when traffic will be at its worst in the Bay Area.

Traffic is supposed to be bad out there right now based on last year's data.

AAA estimates that nearly 51 million Americans will travel somewhere this week, the highest estimate in 12 years.
