AccuWeather Forecast: Widespread Bay Area downpours and gusty winds
ABC7 News meteorologist Drew Tuma has the latest on the storm in the Bay Area on Friday.

Our atmospheric river is on the move today which will lead to widespread downpours and gusty winds. This is a level 2 moderate storm on the ABC7 storm impact scale.

Throughout the day expect rain, heavy at times. A Flood Watch is currently in effect for the North Bay. Rainfall totals will range from 1" - 3". Gusty winds at times has prompted a Wind Advisory for gusts between 30-45 mph. Trees could come down and isolated power outages are possible. Highs today will range from the upper 50s to the mid 60s.

The Look Ahead

Saturday morning will see scattered light showers giving way to drier skies in the afternoon. Sunday will feature light scattered showers throughout the day. Both days are a level 1 on the SIS. Drier weather will finally arrive by Wednesday.
