AccuWeather Forecast: Sunny and dry pattern on the way
ABC7 News weather anchor Spencer Christian has your AccuWeather forecast for Tuesday.

Takeaway of the Day
This first day of April weather was not an April Fools' joke, but we have had some rather unusual developments. We've seen intervals of sun and showers, occasional downpours, very gusty winds, and no fewer than two thunderstorms in the immediate Bay Area, with the possibility of more to follow. It has also been "chilly" by springtime standards, with high temperatures reaching only into the mid to upper 50s in most locations. This unsettled, showery pattern will end tonight, and skies will become clear overnight.

The Look Ahead
Major changes in our weather will begin tomorrow and continue through the weekend. The next two days will bring sunny and drier weather, followed by more sunshine and a significant warming trend from Friday into early next week. Over the weekend, we can expect high temperatures in the low to mid 70s near the bay and inland, and even some 60s at the coast.
