Takeaway of the Day
Our sunny, dry and mild pattern continued today, although it was just a few degrees cooler than yesterday. But even with minor cooling, temperatures reached into the upper 60s this afternoon in numerous locations. Overnight, clear skies will permit sufficient radiational cooling for temperatures to drop into the mid-30s in some areas.
A FROST ADVISORY will be in effect from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. for the East Bay Hills and Valleys, the Eastern Santa Clara Hills and the Santa Clara Valley.
The Look Ahead
Tomorrow will bring a return of gusty winds, beginning during the overnight hours tonight.
A WIND ADVISORY will be in effect for the North Bay interior hills and valleys from 2 a.m. tomorrow to 10 a.m. Tuesday.
During that time, winds may gust up to 55 miles per hour in the designated area. Otherwise, our current dry, mild pattern will continue for at least the next seven days. We can expect a string of sunny days through next weekend, and afternoon highs will be generally in the low or low-to-mid-60s through Thursday. A cooling trend will begin on Friday and continue into the following week, but our days will remain sunny and dry for the foreseeable forecast future.
