Takeaway of the Day

Fog, mist and drizzle is near the coast this morning. Stratus extends inland as well. By midday, the clouds retreat to the coast leaving cool 50s at the beaches, upper 60s to low 70s across the Bayshore and mid to upper 70s inland.

The Look Ahead

A warmer day will arrive Sunday, starting off with less fog for Bay to Breakers. Morning lows will be in the low 50s for the runners.

Afternoon highs will warm into the low 80s inland with more mid 70s Bay side. The coast will be sunny as well, in the 60s.

Warmer days follow, Monday and Tuesday with northerly winds boosting afternoon highs well into to the mid & upper 80s inland on Tuesday. The Bay warms to near 80 with coastal regions in the 60s.

Cooler days follow the rest of the week with a return to a more established sea breeze and coastal fog expanding.
