PALO ALTO, Calif. (KGO) -- For Palo Alto residents, the main concern in Thursday's storm is the San Francisquito Creek in East Palo Alto that flooded two years ago.
Workers passed out fliers Wednesday informing people of the hazards caused by the flooding of San Franciscquito Creek. Hundreds of residents gathered at the Palo Alto Airport Wednesday to fill up sandbags ahead of the storm.
Santa Clara County is encouraging residents to sign up for its emergency alert system before the storm rolls in. Alert SCC allows people to get warnings sent to their email or mobile device.
