5 killer whales put on spectacular display in Monterey Bay

MONTEREY, Calif. (KGO) -- A group of whale watchers in Monterey Bay got quite a show.

Five killer whales put on a spectacular display Wednesday.

The whales swam up to the tour boat and took turns peeking above the surface.

It is prime season for whale watching in Monterey Bay.

Watchers also spotted humpback whales and dolphins during their outing.
