The rain keeps pouring in Novato. There is about a foot of rain near South Novato Blvd. and nearly two and a half feet have filled some of the garages.
Some people enjoyed the rain, they were rafting and a few pick-up trucks were even joyriding, which was somewhat risky because this is an area that floods quite frequently.
A number of businesses are closed, and the rain continues to pour down, while the water continues to rise.
At around 10:30 p.m. on Friday, traffic on Highway 101 from the Golden Gate Bridge up to South Novato Blvd, traffic was moving quite well, there was little traffic and cars were very close to the speed limit.
Once in Novato, it was a different story as roads were closed and water is filling up on the corner of South Novato Blvd. and Center Road.
