Richmond police are asking for help in identifying a suspect who fatally shot a 51-year-old man, shot a 10-year-old girl and shot another man in his 20s at wedding on Saturday night.

Officers responded the 3400 block of Maricopa Avenue around 11:15 p.m. where they found a man dead and two other victims suffering from gunshot wounds, police said.

The girl was in good condition and the man in his 20s was in stable but critical condition, police Lt. Johan Simon said.

Apparently there was some sort of dispute beforehand, that could have been with or without the victims and at some point, "one of the individuals produces a firearm and starts shooting," Simon said.

The suspect ran away and was gone when police arrived. Police described it as a "brazen shooting."
