Nail polish valentines
This is a great way to put all those half-finished bottles of nail polish to use! The colors are so perfect for Valentine's Day and the sparkly, glossy quality turns simple dots and dashes of paint into jewel-like embellishments on your cards. The paint will be easier to work with-and the result will be more precious-if you keep your work very small. You can use leftover pieces of colored card stock from other craft projects, junk mail, old folders, etc.

Create your own e-Valentine! Go on a "sign scavenger hunt" with your camera; look for signs with interesting lettering and capture photos of individual letters or words that you piece together (back home on your computer) into a short, snappy declaration of your love. Attach the resulting photo file in an email to your sweetheart.
