2-alarm house fire being investigated

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA

Firefighters responded to a report of heavy smoke at a house at 1825 Springer Road at about 6:35 p.m., and first responders reported seeing heavy smoke and flames upon arrival, according to the Mountain View Fire Department.

Firefighters quickly searched the building and had the blaze controlled at about 6:45 p.m.

Investigators remained at the house for several hours to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
