San Francisco police received a report of a burglary in progress at about 1:20 a.m. at a construction site near the intersection of 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard.
Arriving officers found the suspect vehicle and tried to stop it, but the suspects fled, starting a brief pursuit, according to San Francisco police.
The suspects were eventually stopped near the intersection of Eastmoor and Sullivan avenues in Daly City at about 1:30 a.m., according to Daly City police.
San Francisco police said two suspects, a man and woman, were taken into custody, and copper wire was found in the back of the vehicle.
