The blaze was reported at about 1:30 a.m. at a home at 191 Plaza Circle, San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District Battalion Chief Mike Brown said in a brief report.
Thirty-one firefighters responded, arriving in five fire engines and two ladder trucks, Brown said. The fire was declared under control by 2:35 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
The fire caused about $100,000 in damage to the home and $75,000 in damage to its contents, Brown said.
The cause remains under investigation. Brown said fire investigators might be able to provide more details later today.
