CHP units responded to a vehicle off the highway reported near Eighth Street in the coastal community of Montara at about 11:30 p.m., CHP Officer Nicole Pacheco said.
Crews blocked one or both of the two-lane scenic highway while working to extricate at least one occupant of the vehicle, Pacheco said, who was believed to have suffered only minor injuries in the incident.
An investigation is being conducted by the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office, Pacheco said.
