Contra Costa to offer free vaccines for kids

Contra Costa Health Services has announced that it will be offering free immunizations for children at two clinics in Concord and Pittsburg later this month.

Vaccinations will be given at no charge to anyone under 19 years old. Parents should bring their children's vaccination records if possible.

Flu vaccines will not be offered at the clinics, but many other important child vaccines will be available.

In Concord, immunizations will be given from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 18 at the Concord Public Health Clinic at 2355 Stanwell Circle.

In Pittsburg, immunizations will be given from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 27 at the Pittsburg Public Health Clinic at 2311 Loveridge Road.
