Crews work to fix water main break in SF

A 12-inch water main ruptured at about 12:40 p.m. near the intersection of Ocean and San Jose avenues, SFPUC spokesman Tony Winnicker said.

Crews were in the process shutting down the main at 1 p.m., Winnicker said.

No water service interruptions are expected, and the cause of the break has not yet been determined, he said.
