Oakland cops receive 'suspicious' warning

A warning went out to Oakland police officers Thursday.

A caller said there was 'something suspicious' under a police car and that prompted brass to warn all officers to do a thorough inspection of the area around their cars for anything unusual.

Nothing out-of-the-ordinary was found after the original call, but the department says officers take all calls seriously and issued the warning as a precaution.
