A new study looked at patients who got daily injections of the diet drug, Liraglutide versus those who took the Xenical pill or a placebo three times a day.

Those taking the ingestible diet drug lost significantly more weight. They also had lower blood pressure.

The drug will now undergo more research trials and the findings are in the Medical Journal Lancet.
