Police are looking for the driver of a Toyota Corolla that struck and seriously injured a man in the parking lot of a Santa Clara bar early Tuesday morning.

The hit-and-run occurred at about 1:30 a.m. in the parking lot of Alberto's Bar at 2103 Scott Blvd., police said.

The victim was seriously injured but is expected to recover, police said.

The car is described as a white, four-door early 1990s Toyota Corolla with black bumper stickers. Police have not yet identified the driver or his passengers.

Police believe three of the people in the car were inside the bar with the victim prior to the hit-and-run. Two of them were captured on camera, police said. Both appear to be Hispanic men in their mid-20s.

The first is about 5 feet 7 inches tall, about 190 pounds and was wearing a T-shirt and a New York Yankees hat. The second is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 170 pounds, with short black hair. He was wearing a green Mexico soccer shirt.

A third person, also a Hispanic man, was not captured on camera. He was described as about 5 feet 7 inches tall and about 160 pounds. He had short black hair and was wearing a ball cap, police said.

Anyone who may know the identities of the suspects or who witnessed the hit-and-run is encouraged to call Detective Sgt. Dan Moreno at (408) 615-4813.
