Study: Morning sickness is sign of healthy pregnancy

Would-be-moms hate morning sickness -- but it may actually signal a healthier pregnancy.

New research suggests that women who suffer nausea and vomiting in their first trimester are three times less likely to miscarry.

That's especially true in women over 35. While the authors noticed a link, they haven't proven there's a cause-and-effect relationship.

They point out that many women who don't suffer morning sickness go on to have successful pregnancies.

The study appears in the journal Human Reproduction.
