Union representatives arrested during Pleasanton strike

PLEASANTON, Calif.

Around 20 people who represent the Castlewood Country Club's Service Union members, who are locked in a dispute over wages with the country club, sat down in the middle of Castlewood Drive.

The union members blocked golfers from entering the club, which is holding its largest tournament of the year.

The workers want an end to their lockout and a new contract. Their previous contract expired in 2009.
