Customers who purchased unlimited data plans complained there were actually too many limits on using it.
AT&T has been throttling, or slowing down service, for the heaviest data users in a given month and region.
Unlimited data customers said they couldn't predict when they'd be slowed down and cheaper plans often provided more service.
So AT&T said from now on it won't throttle customers until they reach the standard 3 gigabytes of use in one billing cycle. That may not appease everyone.
