13-year-old injured following two Oakland shootings

A 13-year-old girl is one of three people recovering from injuries this morning following two late night shootings in Oakland.

The first shooting happened around 11 last night at an apartment building on High Street near San Carlos Avenue. Police say one adult man was shot outside the building - the other man was inside. Both are expected to recover.

Then at 1:30 this morning a 13-year-old girl was shot in the arm at 22nd Avenue near 12th street. Police believe she was an innocent bystander. She is expected to survive.

No word on whether the shootings are linked and no arrests have been made in either shooting.
