School encourages students to use curse words

Teachers in Indianapolis actually encouraged their students to the write down curse words on paper and classroom whiteboards. The lesson is designed to reduce the swearing coming from the mouths of seventh graders.

"And everyone was nervous about it and uncomfortable about it, to write it in front of an adult, especially a teacher," student Viazell Gaither said.

School administrators claim they support the unusual lesson; they say it lets teachers gain control. But at least one parent says her child was uncomfortable hearing all the bad words being used in class.
