The school is investigating cases of at least two students who have been diagnosed with the bacterial infection.
Health officials say there is no connection with seven cases of meningitis at Princeton University this year. On the recommendation of the U.S. Centers for Disease and Control Prevention, Princeton officials on Monday decided to allow students and employees to take a vaccine that has not been approved in the U.S. The vaccine has been approved for use in Europe and Australia.
The decision was made in an attempt to stop the spread of the potentially deadly illness.
Meningitis symptoms can include fever, headache, a rash, body aches and nausea. Meningitis can be spread through kissing, coughing or lengthy contact.
