The theater, located at 3161 Olsen Drive, was built in 1964 and considered an example of mid-century, modern architecture. The attached Flames restaurant, which used to be a Bob's Big Boy, will also be considered.
A nomination would kick off the landmark designation process, involving a historian to document the value of the structures, and public hearings.
