Late Friday night police were searching for a second robber.
It happened late Friday afternoon at the Hardy Nix Jewelry store on Delta Faire Boulevard.
Police say at least two men wearing black ski masks entered the store. One of them opened fire.
The store owner was in back. He came out front and returned fire, killing the robber. A customer was injured and that person has been treated and released.
Police told us they had to take witnesses downtown to interview them because it became such a circus at the scene.
