Fast-moving wildfires are spreading across communities in the Los Angeles area. High winds have dramatically raised the risk of wildfires for the next several days.
The Palisades Fire has grown to 23,654 acres. This fire is 11% contained.
The Los Angeles Fire Department issued a mandatory evacuation order for the following zones:

The evacuation area for the Palisades Fire expanded Friday to include areas around the Getty Center, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Evacuation and warning areas for the Palisades Fire are under a curfew from 6 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday, the department said.
Mandatory evacuations have been issued for parts of Pasadena due to the Eaton Fire, which has now grown to 14,117 acres. This fire is currently 15% contained.
The first evacuation order was issued for the area east of Allen Avenue, north of Washington Boulevard and west of Sierra Madre Villa Avenue. Evacuations were later expanded to include the area north of Orange Grove/Rosemead Boulevard, east of Lake Avenue and west of Michillinda Avenue.
This includes the following zones:

An evacuation center has been established at the Pasadena Civic Center at 300 East Green Street.

The Sunset Fire erupted in the Hollywood Hills near Runyon Canyon Wednesday evening, immediately triggering evacuations.
The blaze has since reached 100% containment after burning 43 acres.
The Hurst Fire in Sylmar has grown to 779 acres and forced residents to leave their homes. This fire is currently 76% contained.
Mandatory evacuations were issued for communities north of I-210 to the I-5 and Route 14 split, but these orders have since been lowered to warnings.

The Woodley Fire ignited Wednesday morning and grew to 30 acres before it was contained. It is burning near North Woodley Avenue in the Sepulveda Basin.
The flames were being driven south by strong winds. Cal Fire reports the fire poses a threat of crossing Burbank Boulevard.
As firefighters make some progress battling destructive wildfires in Southern California, fire danger will continue throughout the weekend and well into the new week as another round of dangerous Santa Ana winds pummel the region.
The National Weather Service issued red flag warnings that were in effect Saturday and are are scheduled to last through Wednesday, affecting some 8.8 million people in Los Angeles and Ventura counties.
Utilities said they were considering preemptively cutting power to customers across the region. In recent years, California utilities have routinely de-energized electrical lines as a precaution against weather conditions that might damage equipment and spark a fire.
In Los Angeles and Orange counties Saturday, expect an afternoon high of 69 degrees, dropping to 45 overnight. Night winds will gust up to 35-40 mph. The winds last into Sunday morning.

The valleys and Inland Empire Saturday will reach a high of 69 and a low of 39. Winds are expected around 40 mph at night.
Beaches will be in the lower 60s and surf between 2-4 feet. Wind gusts will reach 35 mph.
Mountain areas Saturday will reach a high of 49 degrees and a chilly 21 is expected overnight. Northeast canyons winds gusting up to 45 mph are expected.
The deserts Saturday will reach 63 degrees and it'll be about 75 in Palm Springs.
