Deadly pedestrian crash triggers massive delays on I-680 in San Jose

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- A pedestrian was killed in a crash on I-680 in San Jose creating massive delays for the Wednesday morning commute.

All northbound lanes were blocked at Jackson Avenue for hours, but have since reopened. Traffic was backed up for miles heading to the scene.

The pedestrian was hit by more than one vehicle. One of the drivers called the CHP and remained at the scene.
