All NB I-880 lanes reopened in Fremont after multi-vehicle crash

FREMONT, Calif. (KGO) -- Two multi-vehicle crashes triggered massive delays on northbound I-880 lanes in Fremont on Wednesday morning.

The first collision was first reported at 5:21 a.m. A vehicle was stalled on I-880 and cars were trying to avoid it when a four vehicle accident occurred. Another four car accident happened in the backup.

Two people were transported to the hospital; one for a complaint of pain and the other with major injuries.

All lanes were reopened after 7 a.m.
