Jose Maria Gomez, 41, was convicted in February of molesting the girl between September 2000 and September 2001. He also threatened to hurt or kill the victim's mother if the victim told anyone about the molestations, according to prosecutors.
Gomez was convicted on Feb. 27 and sentenced May 30, according to the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office.
