At least seven residents have reported their mail being stolen on Thursday and Friday in various neighborhoods of the city.
The thefts have allegedly occurred in the 1900 block of Matzen Ranch Circle, 1600 block of Del Oro Way, 1500 block of Cerro Sonoma Circle, 1500 block of Henry Way, and 1600 block of Peggy Lane, according to police.
The suspects are a man in his 20s and a woman in her 30s or 40s removing mail from a mailbox, according to one witness report to police.
Residents are encouraged by police to take their mail to the post office because suspects may be targeting holiday gift cards that are often sent and received this time of year, according to police.
