Officers involved in search warrant not fired

At least seven of the 11 Oakland police officers involved in a dispute over drug search warrants will not be fired.

Their attorney says those officers were allowed back to work today because of a lack of evidence.

Earlier this year, the city promised to fire the officers for misleading judges in order to get search warrants. But their attorney says the officers never lied.

She says they were improperly trained about the correct way to fill out warrant affidavits.

The fate of the other four officers is not known.
