Two arrested, two injured in knife fight

Deputies were called to the knife fight in progress in the 400 block of Salinas Road near the community of Pajaro at about 9:10 p.m., according to the Monterey County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies arrested Watsonville residents Jorge Medina, 26, and Pablo Suarez, 24, for assault with a deadly weapon. Two knives were confiscated at the time of the arrests.

Medina, Juarez and Jose Miguel Nieto were injured in the fight and treated at the scene, according to the sheriff's office.
