The shooting was reported at about 11:40 p.m. Monday on Phoenix Drive, according to police.
Arriving officers found the victim, who said he was walking on the street when he was shot at five or six times by two men in a black Ford Explorer, police said.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for his injury, according to police, who searched the area for the suspects but could not find them.
