Fire damages Habitat for Humanity home

Fire officials are investigating a blaze that damaged a home in an Oakland housing complex early Saturday morning, a dispatcher with the Oakland Fire Department said.

Firefighters responded to reports of fire at a home in a complex known as the Habitat for Humanity East Bay property at 10800 Edes Ave. at around 3:50 a.m., the dispatcher said. It was reported under control at about 4:10 a.m.

There were no injuries reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
