Officers responded to a report of a medical emergency at a home in the 8000 block of Arroyo Drive at around 2 a.m., according to the Pleasanton Police Department. A woman without a pulse and not breathing was located in the home.
Police and emergency responders from the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department attempted to resuscitate the woman without success, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of death is under investigation, according to police, who did not release the woman's identity pending notification of her family.
