Apartment fire spreads in Haight-Ashbury

A fire quickly spread to four apartment buildings just after 1 p.m. Sunday in San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury neighborhood. It seriously damaged one building on Federick Street and caused moderate damage to a second.

The Red Cross was helping at least seven people find a place to stay. Residents in two of the buildings were not affected.

No word yet on the cause of the fire.
