East Bay Congressman /*Jerry McNerny*/ will add Cal police officer Lisa Campbell's name to the official congressional record in a ceremony at San Ramon City Hall.
Campbell ran a background check on Garrido after he showed up asking permission to distribute religious material on campus. She found out he was a sex offender and eventually his parole officer was contacted.
The resulting investigation freed /*Jaycee Dugard*/ who had been held captive since her kidnapping in 1991.
