The truck was headed down Manor Drive around noon when the driver says he lost control of his breaks. Unable to control the massive truck, he yelled for people to get out of the way as he careened through two intersections, hitting 10 vehicles before coming to a stop.

"I was screaming to everybody, you know, that I didn't have any breaks and I couldn't stop, hoping people would move out of the way, but it happened so quick that no one could react to it, you know, I couldn't react any quicker than I did," truck driver Ron Leate said.

Witnesses say Leate did not honk his horn.

Two women in two different vehicles were injured in the incident.

Leate has not been cited by police. The California Highway Patrol is investigating.
