Units responded to reports of a crash on the westbound portion of the bridge at around 6:10 a.m., California Highway Patrol Officer Scott Cakebread said.
The driver of one of the trucks suffered major injuries and was taken to Stanford.
A Sig-alert was issued at 6:45 a.m. and the No. 3 lane remained closed more than an hour after the crash was reported. Traffic was flowing in the two other lanes.
