It began when two men ran from a car during a traffic stop. The officers began chasing them when one turned and fired a shot.
Neither officer was hit.
Heavily-armed police and sheriff's deputies went door-to-door searching for the suspects. The man police say fired the shot was found about three hours later in a trailer park.
The search for the second man continues.
