About Dennis Claussen:

A very creative professional, Dennis Claussen has spent the last ten years in the toy business, working in design, packaging, licensing and operations. Before joining WHAM-O in 2009, Claussen was Vice President at JAKKS Pacific, where he started the Creative Services Department and ran several departments.

As a designer, he has received numerous Graphic Design USA awards for his work on consumer products of all kinds.

Emeryville-based WHAM-O is going green in 2010. It recently acquired Sprig Toys, a young eco-toy company known for its products made from Sprigwood, a bio-composite of recycled wood and reclaimed plastic.

WHAM-O also just announced that 50 percent of manufacturing of the iconic Frisbee will return to the United States this year, reducing WHAM-O's carbon footprint.
