Steven Cooley is a registered sex offender. Police say he confronted the woman, who worked as a janitor, at the medical office buildings of Regional Medical Center on Figueres Court.
They say the victim was cleaning the bathroom when Cooley exposed himself and attempted to assault her.
The woman screamed and the suspect ran away.
