VTA rolls out commuter express light rail trains

SAN JOSE, CA

The Valley Transportation Authority rolled out the first commuter express light rail trains.

This is the first major change to the system in its 23 year history. The faster trains will operate down the median on Highway 87 with fewer stops, shaving six to eight minutes off the trip from South San Jose into downtown.

They also offer free Wi-Fi internet access -- look for cars with "Wi-Fi on board" stickers.
