Working with volunteers from their Pitch-In foundation, they're renovating the Rosewood House.
It's a shelter for homeless women trying to get off the streets. The place was landscaped, re-wired, re-painted and repaired to get it up to code. Some of CC's old pals also helped out.
"It's a lot of the guys I grew up with some of the guys from the high school that my best friend coaches at and that's just part of what we're trying to do to get people thinking about other people and get out and help," he said.
The Sabathias started the Pitch-In foundation last year and its primary mission is helping Vallejo's disadvantaged kids.
